About Geolocation

This utility uses your browser's Geolocation API to determine and display your current geographic coordinates. The browser requests this information from your device's GPS, WiFi positioning, or IP-based location services.

Privacy: Your location is never sent to our servers. All geolocation processing happens directly in your browser. You must explicitly grant permission for the browser to access your location.

Accuracy: Location accuracy depends on your device and available positioning services. GPS-enabled devices typically provide the most accurate results, while WiFi and cellular positioning may be less precise.

The coordinates displayed include:

• Latitude: North-South position (positive values indicate North, negative indicate South)
• Longitude: East-West position (positive values indicate East, negative indicate West)
• Accuracy: Estimated accuracy of the position in meters
• Altitude: Height above sea level in meters (if available)
• Heading: Direction of travel in degrees (if available)
• Speed: Velocity in meters per second (if available)
